Metalitalia.com<\/b>, in collaboration with MC\u00b2 Live<\/b> and Live Club<\/b>, is pleased to announce the first confirmed bands for the twelfth edition of the Metalitalia Festival<\/b>, which will take place on Saturday, September 27th, and Sunday, September 28th, 2025<\/b>, at the Live Club in Trezzo sull\u2019Adda (Milan), Italy<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The event will be preceded by an exclusive Warm-Up Party<\/b> on Friday, September 26th<\/b>, at the historic Bloom in Mezzago<\/b>, with further details to be revealed in the coming months.<\/p>\n
Once again, the festival will be a 360-degree experience<\/b>, featuring a diverse musical lineup<\/b> with numerous international bands and exclusive performances<\/b>. Fans can also look forward to free meet & greets<\/b> with all artists, a rich metal market<\/b>, and the return of Metalitalia Ink<\/b>, the dedicated area for tattoos and body art<\/b>.<\/p>\n
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th, 2025<\/b><\/p>\n
Headlining Saturday\u2019s lineup will be DARK TRANQUILLITY<\/b>, true pioneers of Swedish melodic death metal<\/b>. Led by Mikael Stanne<\/b>, the band remains one of the most influential and revered names in the genre, with a career spanning over three decades and a discography that has left an indelible mark on the global metal scene.
\nAlso confirmed for the same day are SOEN<\/b>, one of the most fascinating acts in modern progressive metal<\/b>. Founded by former OPETH drummer Martin Lopez<\/b>, SOEN<\/b> have captivated audiences and critics alike with their refined, emotional, and deeply atmospheric sound, blending technical prowess with heartfelt expression for a truly unique musical experience.
\nFrom Germany, we welcome EQUILIBRIUM<\/b>, champions of a powerful fusion of folk and melodic death metal<\/b>. Over the years, their music has evolved into a heavier and more dynamic force, making them a standout name in the European metal scene.
\nCompleting this first wave of Saturday announcements are IOTUNN<\/b>, a highly acclaimed Danish band that has rapidly gained a significant following with their distinctive approach to progressive metal<\/b>. Combining elegant progressive elements with a robust Nordic melodic death metal<\/b> influence, they have quickly become one of the most promising names in the international scene.<\/p>\n
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28th, 2025<\/b><\/p>\n
Sunday\u2019s headliners<\/b> will be STRATOVARIUS<\/b>, the legendary Finnish band that has written unforgettable chapters in power metal history<\/b>. With a setlist that spans from the immortal classics of “Episode”<\/b> and “Visions”<\/b> to their latest releases, the band, fronted by Timo Kotipelto<\/b>, promises another high-energy performance that will have the entire festival crowd singing along.
\nJoining the lineup are TWILIGHT FORCE<\/b>, true champions of contemporary symphonic power metal<\/b>. With their theatrical and fantasy-driven stage presence, the band will transport fans into their mystical universe, delivering instant-impact melodies and outstanding instrumental technique.
\nRepresenting Italy<\/b> with great pride at this edition are ELVENKING<\/b>, a band with a rich and dynamic sound that has carried the folk\/power metal<\/b> flag for the past 25 years.
\nWe are also thrilled to announce the return of ANCIENT BARDS<\/b>, long recognized as one of the finest symphonic power metal<\/b> acts from Italy and beyond. With their grandiose orchestral arrangements and epic storytelling, the band, led by vocalist Sara Squadrani<\/b>, will deliver their only show of 2025<\/b> at our festival.<\/p>\n
